Blocks and Escher give us their debut 12′ for Metalheadz, hot on the heels of the pair’s contribution to the Platinum Breakz 4 album which was called ‘Madness’. This release is the archetypical Headz sound. Blocks and Escher have an uncanny ability to capture the golden age aestheticwhilstmoving head first toward the future.
The opening cut “MOODS” does just that, evoking chilled out summery D&B vibes and darker, menacing breaks in equal parts. “RAZOR” is all hard-edged drum & bass, nothing soft here!
