The definitive Brian Ellis solo record back in print for the first time in 10 years. Eight time-stopping synthesizer manifestos offer a glimpse of the hi-beams peeking through the creative doorways of BRIAN ELLIS’ imagination… Re-issued on wax for the first time in a decade, and rightfully so on Chicago’s Star Creature. ‘IN THE DARK’ 10 Year Anniversary Edition celebrates the infinite throwdown post-sundown – a luminary laser of inspiration cutting through the darkness of the night, unfolding into a true classic album of the modern funk world. The album was originally released in 2015.Tracklisting:A1 – Boogie BoxA2 – Banana SeatA3 – In The DarkA4 – FlippedB1 – Moonlight ShadowsB2 – One TwentyB3 – Digital LoveB4 – Saito (feat. SASAC)
