“Renowned composer, arranger, and keyboardist Hiromasa Suzuki—known for his work not only in jazz but also in Japanese pop, film, television, and commercials—assembled an all-star cast for this 1976 recording, a pinnacle of pre-fusion/crossover sound. In the late ’60s to mid-’70s, Suzuki was deeply involved with the most cutting-edge artists of the era, including Terumasa Hino, Akira Ishikawa, and Jiro Inagaki, contributing his innovative approach and ahead-of-its-time sensibilities. This album represents a culmination of that period, featuring younger talents who would later become legends themselves—Shuichi ‘Ponta’ Murakami, Akira Okazawa, and Masayoshi Takanaka—resulting in a timeless crossover jazz gem.” – Nipponophone
